relevant to the finished tag.

And above all ... remember this tutorial and all others over the net

are guidelines. Make each tag your own, unique and original to you by

tweeking here and there.

Mask of Choice - I am using ArtMama's Mask 10

Font - Ephesis

LET'S GET STARTED :)

Open up a new 650 x 650 transparent image.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer - moving to the left. Resize by

85% and adjust sharpness

Copy and paste Paper 10 from the kit. Resize by 80%

Apply your mask (which I am sure you all know to do by now) and then

drag this layer down below your tube layer. Now go to Effects, Texture

Effects Blinds with these settings

WIDTH 3 OPACITY 39 Horizontal and Light from Left/Top both checked.

(I also added the image that came with the tube, and applied the mask

and the Texture Effect to it, and moved this above the Mask layer)

Element Cat Tails - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 80%.

Move this layer to the left so it is showing from behind our Tube Layer

Element Grass - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 66%, moving

this so it sits above the cat tails layer.

Element Bottle - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 33%, and

mirror image. Have this showing out from behind the tube.

Element Bird 2 - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 22%.

Position where you like on the tag

Element Sand Doodle - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 33%.

Move this so it is showing from behind the Bottle. I also colorised

this to match the tube.

Element SailBoat - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 44%.

Lower opacity to 68 and move to the right.

Element Wave Flowers - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 44%.

Move this layer down so it sits above your mask layer, but over to the

left, showing from behind the Artist's tube.

Element Glitter Cloud - copy and paste as a new layer, and resize to

57%. Recolor to suit your tag ..

Element SandSpill 7 - copy and paste as a new layer, arranging so this

is your top layer. Lower opacity to 80 and move slightly to the right.

Now it's time to get creative and add any other elements you would like

BUT I wouldn't over do it .. keep this simple - LESS IS MORE :)

Add your Copyright Information, and your name and save this as a PNG

File.

ANIMATION ... if you wish ... you can add a couple of stars in the

background

Tube of choice .. I am using the artwork of Elias Chatzoudis .. and you

can buy at the PSP Project http://www.thepspproject.com/

PlugIns : Eye Candy HSB Noise and Gradient Glow, Mura Meisters Copies

Let's Get Started :)

Open a new 650 x 650 image - you can always resize later

Open up your tube - copy and paste as new layer. (We are doing this now

so we have the tube and can check the position of elements etc.)

Copy and Paste Paper 12 as a new layer and resize by 77%. Adjust

Sharpness. Using Mask of choice, go to Layers, New Mask Layer, from

Image. Layers, Merge Group. Then add Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds.

Element Glitter Splat 1 - copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 44%

and move to the left. Duplicate and mirror. Duplicate and flip and move

to the centre bottom of the tag.

Choose a color from your tube, I used #6a743f and make this your

background color. Using your Elipse Shape Tool draw out a circle,

checking the size to match my tag.

Now change your background color to White and draw another circle -

slightly bigger than the one you already have. Drag this layer down

below the colored circle you already have.Add a Gradient Glow.

Now choose a close up of your tube, and copy and paste this as a new

layer, placing the layer above the colored circle. Move this tube

around until you have it sitting where you like.

Using your magic wand, click anywhere on the circle 1 layer, then move

up to your tube layer and hit delete. Your tube will now be showing

sitting in the circle. Change Opacity to 56 and Blend Mode to Overlay

or whichever mode you like.

Element Hanging Hearts - Copy and paste as new layer, and resize by 55%

and place on top of the colored circle.

Element Postcard - Copy and Paste as new layer and resize by 44%.

Move to the right and using the Raster Deform tool, rotate slightly so

it sits at an angle. You can add whatever wording you like to this or

leave it blank.

Element Truck 1 - Copy and paste as new layer and resize by 77%,

placing to the bottom of the circle shapes.

Element Basket - Copy and Paste as new layer and resize by 30%. Sit

this in front of the truck's door.

Element Canteen - Copy and Paste as new layer and resize by 30%. Sit

this next to the basket.

Element Dog Tags - Copy and Paste as new layer and resize by 30%. Move

this down the tag and to the right of your tube. Adjust Sharpness.

Element Barbed Wire - copy and paste as new layer and resize by 44%.

Make this layer sit above your tube layer.

Now - Free Choice - go through and add any other elements that you like

... make this tag your own and play around - there are so many elements

in this kit to choose from.

Using your font of Choice ... I used BIRTH OF A HERO, type out CALL OF

DUTY in size 72. Add any effects you desire, and place at the bottom of

the tag.

Add your copyright information - making sure you can read it clearly.

Add your name, and save as a PNG file.

Let's Get Tagging

Open up a 650 x 650 transparent image.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer (we will do this now to act as a guideline) Resize image by 77%

Now onto the kit
Open up Frame 5 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 77% and move so the tube is showing through the frame. Using your magic wand, click inside the frame, then go to Selections, Modify, x 9 and Invert. Move to the tube layer and hit delete.

Selections Invert, then add a new layer and drag this below the tube layer. Using color #605d60, flood fill this area. Selections, Select None. Apply HSB Noise - using default settings, changing the Lump Width and Height to approx 100. I then used Toadies Posterize with default settings.

Open Element Bird 3 - copy and paste as new layer. Image resize by 66%, then mirror image, and move to the left hand side of the frame. Adjust Hue & Saturation with these settings
COLORIZE: HUE 4 and SATURATION 0

Opene Element Sand Sprinkly - copy and paste as new layer. Duplicate image, and mirror. Layers, Merge Down. Colorize with the same settings as before. Move this layer down, so it is the bottom layer.

Open Element CallaLily - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 66% and move to the left of the frame, sitting it behind the bird. Colorize with the same settings as before.

Open Element Fence - copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 63%, and move this so it sits at the bottom of the frame. Colorize as before.

Open Element Flower 2 - copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 63% and move this to the right of the frame. Colorize as before.

Open Element Flower Spray - copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 63% and move this to the bottom of the tag. Colorize as before.Adjust Opacity to 74%

You can add any sparkles/twinks etc that you like. I found this butterfly spray in my collection but have no idea where I got it from, so can't point you in the direction to get it - SORRY :(

Using Century Gothic - type out the words WISHFUL MEMORY in black - add a Gradient Glow and postition towards the bottom of the tag.Convert to Raster Layer.
Now - using Carpenter Font Size 48, and color white - type the same words ... and lay them over the top of the wording already there. Add Gradient Glow. Convert to Raster Layer.

Now add your name - in the same way ...

Add your Copyright Information, making sure that it can read clearly.

Save as a PNG File. ♥

LET'S GET TAGGING

Open up your template in PSP ... SHift + D to duplicate the template, and close out the original. Delete the Vector 1 layer

Go to Image, Canvas Size - and resize to 650 x 650

You can always resize your tag when finished. I like to work on this size.

Open up your tube - copy and paste as a new layer.

Copy and paste the close up of your tube on the grey ractangle layer. Position the tube so you can see the face clearly. Now using your magic wand, click inside the grey rectangle, go to Selections, Invert and hit delete. Selections, Select None.

Choose a color from your tube ... and floodfill the grey rectangle with the chosen color. Now add HSB Noise Effects ... with the default settings but changing the Lump Width to 99 and the Height to 122.

Now move down to the pink rectangle and floor fill this layer with Black. You can add a Gradient Glow (Fat) white and then a Medium Glow (Black) - both with a width of 3, if you like.

Move down to the left Grey Circle and add the following effect

ZERO FRITILLARY with these settings

Granularity 5

Aggresion 30

Tesselation 70

Variation 197

Add the same Eye Candy Gradient Glow to this circle.

Now move to the Right Circle and repeat these steps.

Now - move to the right Grey Rectangle,flood fill with color of choice and copy and paste your close up tube once again. Make sure that the eyes are the focal point, when placing the tube. Back on the rectangle layer, use your magic wand to click inside the rectangle and go to Selections, Invert. Move back to your tube layer and hit delete.

Move to right Glitter Rectangle and add a gradient glow (Medium - Black - Width 3)

Move to the left Grey Rectangle, and flood fill with color of choice. Add effects if desired.

Move to left Glitter Rectangle and add a gradient glow (Medium - Black - Width 3)

On the right and left PINK dotted lines layers, change to a color to match your tube.

Now it's time to add any elements you would like. This is what I did

Element SCATTER ... copy and paste as new layer and drag to the bottom. Moved up to the right and then changed the color to suit my tube/tag by going to Adjust, Hue & Saturation, Colorize. Play around with the settings until you get it right for your tag. Then duplicate, image and mirror this layer and move down to the bottom left.

Element Glitter Stars - copy and paste, resize by 90%. Colorize.

Element Flower 4, Greenery 1, Leaves 2 and both Butterfly elements ... gives just the right amount of beauty to the tag.

Now you can add a mask layer if you like, make sure to make it the bottom layer of the tag.

Add your Copyright Information, making sure it can be read clearly.

Add your name and save in PNG Format.

You're done!

Let's Get Started :)

Open a new 650 x 650 image - you can always resize later

Element 50 - Copy and paste as a new layer. Using your magic wand,

click inside the frame, then go to Selections, Modify, Expand by 5. Add

a new layer, and fill this section with a color of choice. Now add the

Eye Candy HSB Noise effect with these settings : Default Settings but

change the Lump Width and Height to 100.

Copy and paste a close up of your tube to this new layer, cropping to

fit this layer without any parts hanging outside. Lower the opacity to

52%.

Add a drop shadow to the frame with these settings : 2,2,40,100

Element 43 (leaves frame) copy and paste as new layer.Add a drop shadow

with these settings : 2,2,40,100

Element 36 (strawberry stack) Copy and paste as new layer. Move this so

it is sitting to the left, on top of the leaf frame.

Element 27 - Copy and paste as anew layer. Resize by 44%, and move down

behind the strawberry stack so it is still showing.

Element 8 - Copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 44%, and mirror this

element - move to the right slightly.

Element 10 - Copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and move this

so it sits in front of the bucket and to the right.

Element 45 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 77% and place where

desired.

Element 22 (berry basket) Copy and paste as new layer, and move this so

it is sitting in front of the strawberry stack.

Element 1 - Copy and paste as a new layer, and move to the centre top

of the leaf frame.

Now add your tube, and place her so she is sitting on the strawberry

stack. Add a drop shadow of 3,3,40,100.

MASK (Optional)

Add your Copright Information and your name, and save as a PNG File.

Beautiful Rain (FTU Limited Time)

Let's Get Started :)

Open a new 650 x 650 image - you can always resize later
Open up your tube - copy and paste as new layer. (We are doing this now so we have the tube and can check the position of elements etc.)

Now back to the kit :
Open Element 16 - copy and paste as new layer, resize by 55% and rotate to the left by 90degrees.
Click inside the frame with your magic wand, Selections, Modify by 5, Selections Invert.
Move down to your tube layer and hit delete, making sure your tube is sitting exactly how you like inside the frame.

Selections Invert again, and then make a new layer, and fill with a color from your tube. You can also use a paper from the kit if you like. I added HSB Noise effects to this layer. Move this layer down below your tube layer.

Open Element 33 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and move to the right of the frame.

Open Element 26 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 18% and move to the right of the frame ... moving down below the stump element.

Open Element 28 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and place in front of the frame.

Open Element 27 - copy and paste as new layer, resizing by 22%, and moving to the left of the frame.

Open Element 18 - copy and paste as new layer, resizing by 22%, and moving to the left of the frame.

Open Element 25 - copy and paste as new layer, resizing by 22%, and moving to the left of the frame, dragging this layer down so it sits behind the bucket.

Open Element 4 - copy and paste as new layer, resizing by 22% and moving to the left, sitting the lamp in front of the stump.

Open Element 29 - Copy and paste as new later, resizing by 22% and lowering the opacity of the layer to 44.

Open Element 17 - copy and paste as new layer, resizing by 22%. Make this layer your top layer. I added HSB Noise to the ribbon element as well.

Be creative ... this tut is only a guide so feel free to add any other elements you like to finish off your tag.

Add a new layer and floodfill with a color from your tube. Using your mask of choice, apply the mask (Layers, New Mask Layer, from image. Merge Group).

Add your Copyright Information, and your name and save as a PNG file.

As always, I would love to see any tags you make from this tutorial.

I am using the wonderful art of Keith Garvey - you can purchase his tubes at PSP TUbes Emporium http://psptubesemporium.com

A licence is needed to use Keith's art.

This tag calls for a tube that also has a close up.

(I bought this tube when Keith was selling from MPT which is no longer in the tube business)

I am using Template # 13 by Tracy. You can find this template at

Sparkle and Mask of choice - check your PSP supplies ... I am sure you have something just perfect to finish this tag off.

Plugins Used : EyeCandy Gradient Glow and HSB Noise: Xero Porcelain

Let's get started ...

Open up the template, duplicate and close out the original.

Go to Image, Canvas Size and resize to 600 x 600

Open up your tube, and choose the close up ...copy and paste it onto the rectangle layer. Make sure that you position the tube so the face is showing. Back on the rectangle layer. Now choose your make wand,and click anywhere outside of the rectangle. Now move back to your tube layer and hit delete, Select none. Now Apply Xero Porcelain settings,

Default, but drag the Blue Channel to 0 and the Red Channel to 255.

Change the blend mode on the Tube layer to Luminance (Legacy).

Go back to your rectangle layer once again, Open up Paper 16 in PSP.

Copy and paste this paper as a new layer. Back on the rectangle layer.

Now choose your make wand,and click anywhere outside of the rectangle.

Move back to your paper layer and hit delete, then select none. On your paper layer, use these settings to apply Eye Candy HSB Noise

Default Settings, but alter the Lump Width and Lump Height to approx 100. You can now delete the orignal rectangle layer.

Move to the layer rectangle frame. Use Eye Candy Gradient Glow, Medium with these settings :

Glow Width 4

Soft Corners 25

Overall Opacity 100

Color - your choice

Move to your top thin rectangle layer, and merge layer down.Use your magic wand, click anywhere outside the thin rectangles, and then Selections Invert. Choose a color ( I used #a3131c) and using your Floodfill tool, fill the rectangles.Selections, Select None. Apply the same HSB Noise Effect you used earlier. Also add a Gradient Glow = choosing a color that makes these shapes stand out.

Now move down to the next rectangle layer, and once again Layers, Merge Down. Use your magic wand, click anywhere outside the rectangles, and then Selections Invert. Choose a color ( I used #000000) and fill these rectangles with the color. Select None. Now add a Gradient Glow - your choice of color, with the same settings used earlier.

Now it's time to start adding your elements.

Element LRromance 1 ... copy and paste as new layer, image resize by 60% and move down so it sits on top of the rectangle as in my tag.

Duplicate and flip, adjust alignment so they are sitting the same.

Element LRromance 26 ... copy and paste as new layer, and move this over to the right, and drag the layer down so it sits above the thin rectangles layer. Duplicate, Image Mirror and Flip.

Element LRromance 29 ... copy and paste as new layer, and move to the left, and drag the layer down so it sits above the flower layer.

Duplicate, Image Mirror and Flip.

Element LRromance 6 ... copy and paste as new layer, and resize by 88%.

You can now add any other elements you like.

Add a new layer, and flood fill with color of choice. Apply your mask, and then move this layer down to the bottom. I also applied HSB Noise and added a Blinds effect to my mask layer.

Now get your tube, copy and paste it as the top layer on your tag. Move until you are happy with the position. Add your Copyright Information clearly. Add your name, and save as a PNG File.

That's it - you are done. I would love to see any tags you make using this tutorial.

Filters : Eye Candy Gradient Glow and HSB Noise, DSB Flux Bright Noise

Okay let's get busy!

Open a new transparent image 650 x 205

Open Paper 8 in the kit, copy and past as a new layer - resize by 88%

Element 28 - copy and paste as a new layer. Do not resize. Move to the left.

Element 49 - copy and past as a new layer. Resize by 55% and move to the left.

Element 11 - copy and paste as a new layer, do not resize. Move to the right .. positioning so the flower is in the top right hand corner.

Element 4 - copy and paste as a new layer, resize by 55%. Move to the right, dragging this below the flower layer. Apply Drop Shadow of choice.

Element 50 - copy and paste as new layer, resize by 66%, then resize by 77%. Move to the left - slightly off centre.

Element 21 - copy and paste as new layer, resize by 22%, then position the bird so it is sitting on top of the lantern.

Now copy and paste your tube of choice as a new layer - a close up works better. Place this in the middle of your tag, and then duplicate this layer, and move it down to just above the paper posted. Now move this tube over to the right so it is looking through the window frame. Lower opacity to 48% and change the Blend Mode to Luminance (Legacy).

Now Merge all layers ... Layers/Merge/Flatten

It's time to make our borders.

Selections, Select All, Float, then DeFloat.
Selections - Modify, Contract by 5, Selections Invert
Add a new layer, choose a color from the tag or your tube, and floodfill this section. Apply DSB Flux Bright Noise at 35 Intensity.

Now - Sections Invert, Modify, Contract by 3, Selections Invert, and floodfill this section with white or another color to suit. Now drag this layer below your first frame layer.
Apply HSB Noise with these settings

Now Layers, Merge Visible
Go to Image, Add Borders and choose a color to suit your tag, Symmetric checked, Border size 1.

*** If you want to add the wordart - it's simple.
Click on your text tool
Font IMPACT
Size 36
Color White
and type out it's in the eyes (all lower case) then add a drop shadow, and then a gradient glow. Lower the opacity to 52%.

Now add your Copyright Information, and your name and you are done.

To make an avatar from this Sigtag - quick and easy.

Duplicate your tag - then take your crop tool and crop the tag to your desired size 150 x 150, 205 x 145 ... whatever. Add your borders,your name or intial and Copyright Info and you are done.

POISONESS (FTU) Tutorial

This tutorial was written by me on January 20th 2012, and is

entirely my own work.

Any resemblance to other tutorials/designs on the net is purely conincidental.

This tutorial was written in PSP 9 but should work in all versions

SUPPLIES

Tube of choice ... I am using the wonderful art of Zlata_M which you can purchase at Pics for Design http://picsfordesign.com

The kit I am using is a FTU kit by KittzKreations called Poisononour B***h which you can get here http://kittzkreationz.blogspot.com/2011/03/new-ftu-kit-coming-soon.html

Fonts Used : Fontmoochers & Verdana (copyright info)

Okay Lets get started

Open up a new transparent image 650 x 650

From the kit ... open element 0046, copy and paste as a new layer.Image, flip.

Open Paper P-6 in Paint Shop. In your materials palette, choose the paper(background).

Now choose your preset shape ... choose circle.

Draw out a circle and covert to raster layer. Move this circle shape

up and to the left, so it's placed like my tag. Now choose EYE CANDY GRADIENT GLOW, Fat, with a width

of 3.

Again, Gradient Glow, Medium, width 3 ... color of choice. Repeat.

Now duplicate your circle shape, then go to IMAGE - Mirror, and then IMAGE - flip.

You can play around with the placement of the shapes.

Open Paper P-1 ... and choose it in your materials palette (pattern).

Back to Preset shapes and choose rectangle. Draw out a rectangle shape, convert to raster layer and move down and to the left slightly.

Add the same Gradient Glow that you applied

to the circle shape.

Using Rectangle preset shape again, and this time choosing a color from your tube/papers

draw out a long rectangle shape. Using EYE CANDY HSB Noise with settings below

Add Gradient Glow as before.

Open Element PB Web ... copy and paste as new layer, and move this layer to the bottom.

Open element PB Brad ... copy and paste as new layer ... move this to the top, and down to the right.

Do not resize.

Now open the following elements and add to your tag -

Element PB Light Burst (place on top of long rectangle shape) resize to suit.

Element 0042 - resize by 55% - move to the top of the tag.

Element PB Swag Floral - resize by 85% and move down the tag.

Element 010 - resize by 66% and move to the left side of the tag.

Element PB-B3 - resize by 33% and move to the left, so it sits on top of element 010

Add any other elements you would like ... placing and resizing to your own taste.

Now add your tube ... position to the left. Add drop shadow as below

Now ... go to Layer 1 ... floodfill with a color from your tube/elements. Apply your mask, then

go to effects, Texture Effects, Blinds with these settings.

Width - 3 Opacity - 45 Color - White

Add your Copyright information, add your name and save as a PNG file

That's it ... you are done :)

Let's Get Started :

Open up a new transparent image 650 x 650

Open element 25 from the kit -copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 22%.

New Layer - drag this below your frame layer. Using Preset Shapes, choose a circle shape (with your desired color) and draw out a circle just smaller than the frame.

Open element 30 from the kit - copy and paste as a new layer and resize by 22%. Drag this layer down to the bottom.

Open element 35 - copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 15% and place this in front of your frame - to the right.

Open element 36 - copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 15% and place this in front of your frame and clock - to the right.

Open element 13 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 15% and place this in front of your frame - to the right.

Open element 46 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 15% and place this in front of your frame layer - just so it looks like the clock etc is sitting on the leaves.

Open element 31 - copy and paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and place just behind the clock - moving it slightly to the right so it is showing.

Copy and Paste element 31 again - this time resize by 15% and place on the left of the frame.

Open element 41 - copy and paste as a new layer. Resize by 15% and place behind the small flower ... moving it slightly to the left so it is showing.

Open element 44 - copy and paste as a new layer and move to the top. Go to IMAGE and then MIRROR.

Open element 38 - copy and paste as new layer and resize by 15%. Place as desired.

Now to add your tube - copy and paste your tube as a new layer, making sure that it is sitting above your frame layer. My tube was resized by 77% but you will have to play around with this to get exactly the size you want.

Duplicate your tube layer and drag below your frame layer. Using your Magic Wand,and making sure you are on your circle background layer, click on the circle - it should now have the marching ants around the edge. Go to SELECTIONS and INVERT.

Move to your duplicated tube layer, and then hit DELETE. Then go back to SELECTIONS - SELECT NONE.

Now move to your original tube layer - and using your ERASER, working at the bottom of the tube and begin to erase the parts of the tube, until you will begin to see the frame edge clearly, and your tube will look like it is sitting inside the frame.

You can now add any other elements that you like from the kit - or maybe some animation or even a mask background - or use this little nifty trick to make a textured background instead.

*Copy Merged your entire tag - and paste as a new layer, moving down to the bottom. Adjust Gaussian Blur (about 15) and then add Texture Effects BLINDS - settings that you like*

Crop your tag to your desired size. Add your Copyright Information, and your name and you are done.

ZINDY FALL FANTASY - PTU

SUPPLIES NEEDED

Tube of Choice - I used a tube from Zindy called Autumn Kisses which you can find HERE

Kit used - Fall Fantasy by A SPACE BETWEEN which can be purchased HERE

(I used the Taggers Size Kit)

Mask of choice - I am using DBV_Mask 111 - get it HERE
Font used for my name is AQUARELLE

Open up a new 650 x 650 image

Copy and Paste your tube and move slightly to the right

Open up element 9 from the kit - copy/paste and move below the tube and to the left.

Open element 17 - copy/paste and move below the tube and to the right. Look at my tag for placement.

Open element 29 - copy/paste and move below the tube and to the left.

Open element 42 - copy/paste and move above the tube layer, placing at the bottom edge of the tube.

Open element 5 - copy/paste and place as in my tag.

Open element 52 - copy/paste and move below your tube layer. Move to the right slightly, so you can see it poking out from behind your tube.

Open element 14 - copy/paste and move layer down so it is above your wooden window layer. Move to the left and place where desired.

Open element 4 - copy/paste. Resize by 66% and rotate slightly to the left.

Duplicate this layer - mirror image and resize by 66% - place where you like it best.

Open element 46 - copy/paste and resize by 66%. Move the layer down to where you like it best. You can duplicate and flip/mirror this layer again if you like ♥

Open element 27 - copy/paste and mirror this layer. Move and place as my tag.

Open element 51 - copy/paste and resize by 33%. Place as desired.

Now - open Paper # 10 and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 83% and apply the Mask.

I applied the HSB Noise effect and then added Blinds effect.

Now copy and paste your tube again ... and move it down so it is just above your Mask layer. Mirror the tube and place it so it is showing through the wooden window.

On your Mask Layer - go to Selections, Select All, Float, and then Defloat. Next - Selections, Invert.

Now move again to the tube Layer, and hit Delete, then Selctions, Select None.

Lower the opacity of the tube to 50% ... you can play around with the Blend Mode until you find one you like.

Add your Copyright Information, and your name - and save as a PNG file.

You are done!

Summer Scents - FTU

Font used : Saginaw Bold

Okay - let's get started

1. Open a new image 650 x 650 - you can resize later when your tag is done.

2. Open element 9 (frame) and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 33%

3. Open element 10 (fern leaf) and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and move to the left hand side of the frame. Duplicate and rotate by 90 degrees to the right ... then place along the bottom of the frame.

4. Open element 7, and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and place at the bottom left hand corner of the frame.

5. Open element 5, and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 22%, then rotate by 90 degrees to the right and place along the bottom of the frame ... on top of the fern leaf.

6. Open element 3 (bottle) and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 33% and drag below a couple of layers so that it sits against the frame, at the right hand bottom corner.

7. Open element 1 (flowers) and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 33%. Move this down one layer and arrange behind the bottle.

8. Open element 6, and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and move to the left ... duplicate and rotate by 90 degrees and move down ... look at my tag.

9. Open element 4 (doodle) and copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 22% and then by 55%. Move down.

10. Open element 2, and copy/paste as new layer. Resize 20%. Choose a color from your tag and recolor this element. Move down to the bottom layer, moving this to the bottom of the tag. Duplicate and flip.

11. Add a new layer and move this layer below your frame layer. Go to your frame layer, and using the magic wand, click inside the frame. Go to Selections, Modify and Expand by 4. Move back to your new layer and flood fill the expanded selection with a color from your tube or the elements. Whatever works best. Select none. Now add EyeCandy HSB Noise effect with these settings

12. Now add your tube ... move it so it sits above the frame layer but below the ferns etc.

13. Add your copyright information and your name ... and you are done. Save as a PNG file.

Lia Witches Den - FTU

LIA WITCHES DEN (FTU)

This tutorial is entirely my own creation and any similarities to any other tut on the web is purely coincidental.

I used the free to use kit WITCHES DEN by Vaybs which you can get HERE

Mask used is by MC_Mask13 by MelissazCreationz which you can get HERE

Font used for my name is called GRAVE DIGGER

Okay - let's get started.

1. Open up a new image 650 x 650

2. Open up the Witches Den Kit by Vaybs and use element 19 (house) and paste as new layer.

3. Open element 34 (moon) and paste as new layer and drag below the house. Resize as desired.

4. Open element 77 (flock of birds) and paste as new layer. Mirror image, resize as desired and place across the moon image as in my tag.

5. Open element 29 (grass) and paste as new image, drag below the house and place so it is showing just below the bottom of the house.

6. Open element 39, paste as new layer and resize. Place on the right hand side of the house.

7. Open element 10, paste as new layer and drag this layer so it sits in front of the house. Resize as desired, then duplicate image, and mirror, so you end up with a row of flowers in front of the house.

8. Open element 80 (fire), paste as new image and resize - then move over to the left slightly in front of the house.

9. I also used elements 6 (lantern) 38 (cat) 48 (sparkle) and 73 (crow) and place where you like.

10. Go to raster 1 - which should be your bottom layer. Choose a color from your tag, and using the flood fill tool, fill this layer with your chosen color. Now go to LAYERS, New Mask Layer, from image and in the drop down box, choose MC_Mask13 or your mask of choice that you have open in PSP. Make sure that Source Luminance is checked, and then hit OK. Then go back to LAYERS, Merge, Merge group. You now have your mask background.

You may add whatever effects you like - I applied EyeCandy HSB Noise, then Effects, Texture Effects, Blinds. And I also lowered the visibility of the mask to 50%

11. Now ... add your tube and place as desired.

12. Add your Copyright Information, your name and you are done!

Here is another example of the same tag but using the awesome artwork of Misticheskaya (PTU)

Yes, I know that it's been awhile ... and life has been very very busy ... so much that this week is the first time in ages that I have sat down and made a few tags ... boy have I missed it! My Rant ...

I have to say, that I am getting really really sick of all the drama queens causing trouble for people posting tags on Facebook ... or anywhere else for that matter ... and turning our tagging hobby into a nightmare.

Just this morning, it surfaced again with an image that really did not need to be reported at all, and it just goes to show that some people out there are constantly looking to make some people upset and destroy their tagging fun.

WHY? Are they jealous? Or do they just enjoy the drama? Whatever it is, it's no wonder that so many people are walking away and saying they will never make another tag again.

Most taggers these days do not use EAC (Extreme Adult Content) in their tags anymore - the most you may get is the odd boob or butt poking out here or there. And seriously, you see a lot worse on most of the television shows that are put on Free To Air, available to old and young alike.

My opinion is this - if you don't like what you see - DON'T LOOK!

If you are causing trouble out of jealousy - spend the time like the rest of us have, hour after hour, year after year learning different skills and become a great tagger.

I am sick of the nasty troublemakers in the PSP world - you have cost us so many headaches over the years, as well as the artists! It's no wonder there are so many artists that have become PTU or denied permission for us to use their work as a FTU artist.

STAY AWAY from everything PSP if all you are going to do is complain ... we all have enough going on in our real lives without our hobby becoming a complete nightmare too.

That said - I am opening Paint Shop and getting ready to make some tags - anyone wants to find something to pick on about anything posted here - bring it on!

A new template - and thanks to the Pact Time challenge at CREATIVE ADDICTIONS ... it has got my creative mojo happening again. This weekend, we have to make 4 Tags using templates, so it gave me a good excuse to make some new ones. There seems to be alot of layers in this one - but really there isn't.

This week at BAG-A-SNAG, the featured artist is LIA and there are 7 daily tubes posted to create some awesome tags with. This is the Lia tube that I used ... it's called Elle, and I just love her. Couldn't really find a kit that seemed to sit well with this one, so left it nice and simple.

Well, something a bit different today. I started off with good intentions - making a new template. Before I knew it, I had finished a tag ... so thought, why not do something different and offer the tag back up for you? All you have to do is add your tube/tubes. The few elements on the tag came from FTU kits ... so not sharing anything that I shouldn't ♥

First of all ... I want to apologise for the lack of posting here over the last month. Real life has a way of jumping in and stopping all the fun we like to have ... and it certainly did that for me. My hubby had to look for a new job, and I have had to go back to work ... and then there was updating the pc - took forever to transfer everything over and get the plugins working again. Some of them still aren't - no matter what I do, so making do with what I have for now.

I am hoping that I am going to be back in the swing of things from now on.

And on that note - I also hope that you have had a wonderful Easter. It's Anzac Day here - a time to remember and pay respect to all those that fought for our country so that we can live in peace and freedom. Lest we forget ...

I am so sorry that it has been ages since I posted some new templates.

I have been totally rapt up in real life ... and it's been a long and tiring few weeks but at least now we are over the worst of it and life can get back to normal. Plus - I have updated my pc and trying to get everything back on it (Filters, brushes, shapes etc) has been a nightmare!
