Tutorial - EVERYDAY PRINCESS

This tutorial was written by me on January 30th 2013 and is entirely my own idea.
Any resemblance to other tutorials on the net is purely coincidental
All my Tutorials are © protected
Please provide a link back to the blog - do not copy/paste elsewhere
or claim as your own work

SUPPLIES
Tube is by Amy Matthews which you can get at CDO
Scrap Kit is by Irish Bitch Designz - available at Scrap Candy HERE
Font used is Life Savers

TUTORIAL
Open a 650 x 650 transparent image

Using your Shape Tool - Square, draw out a square and place it in the centre of your image
(color does not matter)

Now open up your Princess Grunge kit, and choose Paper # 9
Copy and paste this over your Square
Using your Magic Wand, and making sure you are on the Square Layer, click anywhere
outside the Square. You will now have marching ants around the edge of the square and the canvas
Move to the paper layer and then hit delete
Your paper now sits snuggly over your square shape, which you can delete if you like

On your bottom layer of your image, floodfill with color of choice and apply a mask
I used WSL Mask # 81 - and then HSB Noise to my mask layer

Using your Rectangle Shape Tool - and using a color from your paper - draw out 2 long vertical
rectangles. Look at my tag for reference
Open up your tube ... if you have a close up - this works best and gives variance to the tag
Poition your tube over one of the rectangles, and trim the tube by deleting the same way we
did the paper over the square.
Do this for both rectangles.
Alter the blend mode on the tube layers to SCREEN and lower opacity to 64 - 70
Add Gradient Glow to the rectangle shapes ... FAT white first and then MEDIUM in your choice of color.
Play around with the settings to find the one you like the best.

Now choose another color either from the paper or your tube, and draw out a small circle
Move this layer down to the left and place this behind your square shape. Continue to use my tag as a guide.
Duplicate this circle - Flip and Mirror. Now you can add any effects you like, paste your tube into the circles - whatever you like. Use your imagination.
I added Texture Effects Weave to mine, then a Gradient Glow

Now copy/paste your tube - make sure this is now your top layer and placed in the middle
of your tag
Now let's add some elements
1 - Add the Curtain - resize by 55% and behind the tube, at the top of the rectangles
2 - Add Frame - do not resize, and move below your square, so the spikes are showing
3 - Add Shoe/Pearls - resize by 22% and move down to the left of your tube
4 - Add Star Charm - resize by 22%, mirror and move down to the right of your tube
5 - Add Flower - resize by 22%, and place where you like, duplicating as desired

Add other elements as you like - remember to always try and add your own style to every tag you make

Choose your font, size 24 and type out 'everyday princess' all in lower case.
Promote to layer and rotate by 90 degrees ... add a gradient glow. Place as shown
Duplicate, Flip and Mirror and place on the right hand side.

Add your name, and your copyright information.
Crop tag to size and save as PNG

Zindy Hey Now Tutorial (PTU)

This Tutorial was written by me on September 4th 2012
and is entirely mow own creation.
Any resemblance to other tutorials out there on the net
is purely coincidental. My Tutorials are © protected.

SUPPLIES
Using the Breaking Lily tube and kit by Zindy which you can find here - at 1/2 price right now -
Font used is Carpenter Script
Filters - Eye Candy Gradient Glow and HSB Noise, DSB Flux Bright Noise

TUTORIAL
Open a 650 x 650 transparent image
Select Element Photo Frame - Copy/Paste as new layer, resize by 77%
Using the deform tool ... rotate the image slightly to the left.
Select your Preset Shape Tool - and the Elipse Shape
Using White - draw out your shape - using my tag as a guide
Apply DSB Flux Bright Noise, Darker - setting at 34.
Add a Medium Gradient Glow in a color from your tube, Glow Width setting of 8.68
Add a drop shadow.

Using your Preset Shape Tool, Elipse Shape, and changing your color to one from your tube,
draw out a smaller shape.
Apply HSB Noise, width and height adjusted to approx 100, balance of settings left at default
Now - take your close up tube - copy/paste as new layer on the shape.
Trim, so your tube sits nicely inside the shape (we all know how to do this by now, don't we?)
Merge Layer down, and apply the same Gradient Glow effect we did earlier, change the color to black.

Now time to add some elements from the kit
Element Calla Lilly - copy/paste as new layer - resize by 44% - move to the left
Element Bow 1 - copy/paste as new layer - resize by 33% - move to the left
Element Glitter 2 - copy/paste as new layer - drag this layer down so it becomes the bottom layer.

Now Copy/Paste your tube as a new layer - resize by 77% and add a drop shadow.
Move this to the left slightly, so you can still see the flowers from the side of the tube.
Element Cloud - copy/paste as new layer - resize by 77%
Element Ruffled Ribbon - copy/paste as new layer - resize by 44%. Move this down to the bottom of the tag.
Element Flutter 1 - copy/paste as new layer. Resize by 22% - move to the left. Duplicate, Mirror and move this layer to the right and down to the bottom of the tag.

Add all Copyright Information ... and your name - save as a PNG and you are done ♥

LOVE PEACE & SHOES Tutorial

This tutorial was written by me on August 16th 2012
This is purely my own idea and any resemblance to others on the net
is purely coincidental.
Do not claim as your own work - please link if using this tutorial in Forum Challenges.

SUPPLIES
Tube is by KiwifireStorm called Jayded Bombshell which you can buy at the PSP Project here
Template is by Melissa which you can get here
Kit of choice - I used Glammy Girl by Nicky from Inzpired Creationz which you can buy at SATC
(please note - there are many FTU kits out there you could use as well)
Filters - Eye Candy HSB Noise and Gradient Glow; Xero Fritillary

TUTORIAL
Open up your template - duplicate and close the original
Delete raster 2 (copyright layer)
Open your tube - copy and paste as a new layer, placing it above Layer 8 (small squares). Move the tube until you have it placed how you like over the squares. Move back to Layer 8, using your Magic Wand, click outside the small squares and you will have the marching ants showing. Move back to your tube layer and hit delete. You will now have your tube cropped perfectly into the squares.

Repeat the same procedure for Layer 7
(You can also fill Layer 7 and 8 with a color from your tube and apply HSB Noise)

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer - make sure this is now your top layer.
Resize by 77% - add a drop shadow.

Now move down to layer 9 - choose a color from your tube and fill the circle with this color.
Apply Texture Effect/Weave - play around with the settings to get one you like.
Now add a Fat White Gradient Glow, and then add a Black Medium Gradient Glow - Glow Width 3
Repeat above steps for Raster 10

Move to Layer 11 - floodfill with a color from your tube - add HSB Noise and a Black Medium Gradient Glow.
Repeat for Layers 12 and Copy of Layer 12

Move to Layer 5 - floodfill with Black, then add a White Fat Gradient Glow, then a Black Medium Gradient Glow. Add a drop shadow if desired.

Now move to Copy of Raster 5 - floodfill with Black, then apply Xero Fritillary with default settings but adjusting the Tesselation to 50, and Variation to 161.

Raster 6 - use your magic wand - click on the frame and then floodfill with black, and add a Fat Gradient Glow in White, and then a Black Medium Gradient Glow.
Repeat for Layer - alternating color with the Medium Gradient Glow.

Now this is where you add your own flair to the tag to make it unique. Be creative and try out the various elements in this kit or whatever kit you use.

Elements I used where :
Sparkles 1 and 2
Scattered Pearls
Clutch
Heart 2
Doggy 1
Shoe Phone
Shoe 1

Add your Copyright Information and your name and save as a PNG - you are done!

LITTLE PIECE OF CHINA (FTU Tutorial)

This tutorial was written by me on August 15th 2012
This is my own idea and any other resemblance to other
tutorials on the net is purely coincidental.
Do not claim as your own work - my Tutorials are © Protected.
You may link to this tutorial if using in Forum Challenges.

SUPPLIES
Tube is by Eos Sparks called Firefly-hime and you can get it here at the PSP Project
Kit is by Linas Designs called Little China Girl - get it here
Font is Keetano Gaijin
Filters - Eye Candy Gradient Glow and HSB Noise
Mask of Choice - I used WSL #81

TUTORIAL

Open up a new transparent image 650 x 650 - you can always resize later.
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer - resize by 55%
Using your Tool Shape (Rectangle) and Color Black (background) draw out a rectangle shape - use my tag as a guide. Drag this below your tube layer.
Change your background color to #ce5257 and draw out another rectangle shape - not as long, but wider.
Drag this down below your black rectangle shape.
Change your background color to white and draw out one more rectangle shape - longer than your black one, and not as wide. Move this layer so it sits above your black rectangle.
This is what your tag should look like now
Now is the time to add any effects you like to your rectangle shapes.
On the reddish shape, I applied HSB Noise, then a Black Gradient Glow.
On the black shape, I applied Texture Effects Weave, then a Fat Gradient Glow and a Black Gradient Glow
On the White shape, I applied Texture Blinds Effects, and a Black Gradient Glow.
(Play around with the settings to get the effects you like)

Using your font - you can add a saying of choice - I posted PEACEFUL INFLUENCE in Keetano Gaijin size 72. Add a drop shadow and place this so it sits nicely on the white shape.

Now is the time to start adding your elements - here is what I used - remember to check my tag from time to time for placement of elements - but also, remember this is just a guide.
Plant - resize by 22% - paste as new layer and move down and to the right. Duplicate/Mirror
Chopsiticks - resize by 44% - paste as new layer, and Mirror. Move to the left.
Panda- resize by 22% and then 44% - paste as new layer, making sure it is the top layer - move to the left.
Bowl with chopsticks - resize by 16%, paste as new layer and move to the left, next to the panda.
Button 2 - resize by 44%, paste as new layer and move to the right, moving the layer down below the plant.
Bonsai Tree - resize by 44%, paste as new layer, move to the left and duplicate, moving to the right. Merge layer down, then drag this layer down below your reddish shape, but having the tree showing from behind.

Add any other elements you like ... but don't over do it - the tag is not meant to be busy :)

Add your Copyright Information - making sure it is clear - and then add your name in the Keetano Gaijin font.
Save as a PNG - and you are done.

Move your star line to the bottom of the tag.

I added a Gradient Glow (Medium Size 4)
Now change your background color to White, and using the Scriptina Font, type your name again.
Add a Gradient Glow or drop shadow if desired.
Move this up slightly so it sits above your original name.

Merge all layers, and duplicate.
Adjust Blur (10) on your top layer. Change your Blend to Overlay and reduce Opacity to your taste.
Add your Copyright Information (yes, even if you only use a kit!)

TUTORIAL
Open a 650 x 650 Transparent Image

Using your magic wand, click inside the frames and modify by 7. Add a new layer and floodfill with a color of choice. Select None.
Open your tube, copy and paste so this tube sits below your frame.
Delete the parts that are showing outside the frame (Use your magic wand, click outside the frame, then move to the tube layer and hit delete)
You can change the Blend mode of the tube to your liking - I used Luminance Legacy.
You can now add a Gradient Glow to your frame.

Place this flower element in the bottom left corner of the frame, and also in the right middle of the frame.
Element 20 - copy/paste and resize by 44% placing the same as the flower elements, but moving slightly up and out so it is showing a little more.
Element 21 - copy/paste and resize to liking. Place in front of the flower at the bottom left hand corner of the frame - moving a little more to the left.
