On Boxing Day - I broke my tibia - which resulted in a trip by ambulance to hospital, then an operation and home 4 days later ... with my leg in a brace for the next 6 weeks. I hope to get a 90deg movement in the leg in a couple of days - surely going to be way more comfy than straight all the time. But I have no weight bearing for 6 weeks and then slowly with physio, I will begin to put a little weight and use crutches + wheelchair ....
I've been in this wheelchair for 2 weeks now - and it's very tiring ... but could be worse - always could be worse. So - that said - once I am feeling a little more normal - I will get back to creating some goodies for the blog .. in the meantime ... I am tagging at my forum and will get back to my other 2 fave forums as time permits ....
Big thank you to everyone that has reached out - and the wonderful support I have here at home with family and friends is making this a more pleasant time than I would have expected
