Rinachiyya, I know this question wasn't directed at me but as I don't htink you have received an answer yet: a psd is a layered file that is used in photoshop (and maybe other programs as well?) and can be saved as a gif or a jpg. similar to, I believe a psp (tube) used in Paint Shop Pro. I hope that helps; that is about all I know about it.

What is a PSD file?
I know I can open a Rar and zip files.

Yep that's right ... it's saved as a PSD File so that it can be opened in Paint Shop or Photoshop ... hope that helps
